Movin' on up to the east side

So I went for and interview at Rainbow Play Systems, got up at 3 in the morning, drove to Brookings, interviewed, drove back up to minneapolis to work that night. Then next week got a call for a second interview, so I worked that morning, drove to SD, put in a storm door at my parents in Flandreau, then came back to MN.

At the interview they said that they would be making a decision by monday or tuesday. So I went to work and kept my phone with. And waited for a call.

We waited...

And waited...

Then on thursday, while at work, with one customer on the work phone on hold, checking a price for a cashier, answering a question for a customer in the store, and on my way back to the outside of the store to unload a truck...I got THE call-couldn't answer it and when I called them back the HR manager had gone to lunch, so I had to wait another half hour to find out that I got the showroom services assistant job!

So now we both, and I think most everyone else, are happy to be moving back to SD. We are going to looking in Brookings for places to live.
