Halloween

The one thing I loved about the Halloween is the chance to be someone I'm not dressing as a witch (which I was every year for lack of funds going into the preparation of a costume) Manda...I remember when you lived in that red house in Webster, I was a witch when we stopped by to trick or treat!!! That was also the year I stopped because I realized I was a dork for still going :) But the best part was dressing up...ok not to mention the TON of candy that we got. I loved getting popcorn balls which is why I insist on making them every year. Matt will be forced to eat these for weeks because we are no longer allowed to hand them out as treats. Poor Matt!!! Back to the dressing up part. You notice that every year around this time the goal is to be something scary...but slutty. Slutty nurse, angel, vampire, school girl...and for most women this is dressing up like something they aren't. But what do sluts go as for Halloween? Don't answer that question, you'll actually hurt yourself. You can no longer dress as anything unless it has some sexual undertones to it. I'm a monkey...ohh but spank me (get it...spank the monkey) or you can go as a pencil, but that will be turned to sex. Maybe I only see it this way because I myself have a perverted mind, but I can't wait till I have kids of my own and I can once again through the silly parties where we can bob for apples, or make graveyard cakes and love every minute of it. Trip to California...
Matt and I went to California this summer. San Francisco is one of my favorite cities, and I got to share it with Matt which was a huge deal for me. Even though a blog site should be used for...well Blogging, I thought i would put some of Matt's pictures. He has a very good eye. Here are some of his works.

vehicular something

Erica and I just got a new automobile. It's a red F150 pickup. Mom was jealous before when she heard that it was red but she was double jealous when she saw how cute it was. Cute? A pickup can be cute? And we gave Betsy my old car, which she seemed so happy to have her own vehicle now and not have to wait a half hour for someone to pick her up so she doesn't have to walk the two blocks home.
